Reverend Steve Mistriel is one of the BEST officiants. We hired him to officiate at our wedding and it was the best decision we ever made. We had one official meeting with him getting to know each other which was the very first meeting we had with him over Zoom. We talked to many officiants, but he was definitely the one who won us over and who made the best first impression. He was very energetic and he was also a really great story teller. We filled out many forms along the way so that our ceremony was exactly how we wanted it. They had many examples for us to choose or tweak. The whole process was just so smooth and effortless. We really enjoyed working with Today We Become One. We told him our story and filled out our story in a questionnaire and he absolutely nailed it at our wedding! He had great comic relief and sentimental moments. He is super experienced and just the perfect officiant!

He listened to our very detailed Indian rituals and executed with an amazing narrative behind every rituals being performed. (Jai mala, sindoor, mangalsutra and the lasso) from the moment I met Rev Steve I knew he was the right person to officiate my marriage. Same sex marriage and being able to incorporate the Hindu rituals along with catholic rituals… he made it happen with ease! Reverend Steve was absolutely fantastic! Everything was very simple and easy. Steve and those he works with allowed us to customize our ceremony with easy email processes and several options to choose from for our ceremony along with a few other customizations we added in on our own. He is very pleasant and was very punctual for rehearsals and the actual wedding day. We chose to perform a blending of sands into our ceremony which Steve was great in assisting and we were able to purchase everything needed through their company. All I can say is Reverend Mistriel gave the most absolute beautiful ceremony for my wedding. His words touched the hearts of so many of my guests as well as myself and my husband. Throughout the day we had so many people tell us how much they loved the ceremony and how beautiful it was. We did a combination of religious and non religious but he also included something that my family treasures as a tradition in our family which is the arras and lazo.
