In a delightful turn of events that has fans of the 2003 film 'School of Rock' cheering, former child actors Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli have married, more than two decades after first meeting on set. The couple, both 33, exchanged vows on January 4, 2025, in a ceremony that doubled as a heartfelt reunion for their co-stars.

Hale and Massagli portrayed Marta, a backup singer, and Frankie, the band's security chief, respectively, in the beloved film starring Jack Black as a substitute teacher who transforms his class into a rock band. Their initial meeting at auditions in New York City left a lasting impression on Massagli. Reflecting on that moment, he recalled thinking, "Wow, that girl’s really, really, really something else."

After filming concluded, both Hale and Massagli stepped away from acting to pursue different career paths. Hale became an OB-GYN ultrasound technologist, while Massagli earned a law degree and now works as a lawyer for TikTok. Despite their busy lives, the cast maintained their bond through group chats and occasional reunions.

Fate brought Hale and Massagli back together in 2018 when they discovered they were both studying in Florida. A lunch to catch up rekindled their connection, leading to a romantic relationship. Their shared history provided a strong foundation, with Massagli noting that their early familiarity "really cut through some of those early relationship hurdles."

The couple announced their engagement in June 2023, with Massagli proposing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Their wedding, held at the Park Château Estate & Gardens in New Jersey, was a nostalgic celebration. Several 'School of Rock' co-stars attended, and Jack Black sent a generous video message to congratulate the pair. A highlight of the evening was a dance to Stevie Nicks' "Edge of Seventeen," a nod to a memorable scene from the film.

Charlie and Brooke’s wedding proved that love, laughter, and a little creativity can make for an unforgettable celebration. As Charlie shared on Instagram, "I love you Brooke…with you I am my very best. It has always been you."

Your wedding day should tell your unique love story, not look like every other Pinterest board out there. But here's the thing, most couples either go overboard with personalization or miss the mark entirely. After years of helping couples create meaningful ceremonies, we've seen these same seven mistakes pop up again and again. The good news? They're totally fixable. 1. Copying Social Media Trends Without Adding Your Personal Touch We get it. Instagram weddings look amazing, and Pinterest is basically wedding porn. But when you're just copying what everyone else is doing, your wedding ends up looking like everyone else's too. The desert pampas grass, the neon signs, the donut walls, they're all beautiful, but do they actually represent you? The Fix: Start with your story first, trends second. Before you pin another "boho chic" inspiration board, sit down together and talk about what makes your relationship special. Maybe you bonded over terrible horror movies, or you have a thing for vintage vinyl records. Those are the details that should shape your wedding, not whatever's trending on TikTok this week. Use social media for inspiration, but ask yourself: "Does this actually reflect who we are as a couple?" If the answer is no, keep scrolling.
