Simmons Daughter Weds- Celebrity Wedding Watch

Sophie Simmons, daughter of KISS bassist Gene Simmons and model/actress Shannon Tweed, has tied the knot with her longtime beau, musician James Henderson. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at a private estate in Malibu, California on February 22nd.

The bride looked radiant in a stunning strapless gown with a fitted bodice and full skirt. She wore her hair in loose waves, accented with a simple veil. James looked dapper in a classic black suit and bow tie. The couple exchanged rings beneath an elegant floral archway, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

The reception took place in a beautifully decorated outdoor tent, complete with sparkling chandeliers, lush floral arrangements, and twinkling lights. The newlyweds shared their first dance as husband and wife to the sound of a live band, with family and friends joining in the celebration.

Sophie's father, Gene Simmons, gave a touching speech, expressing his love and admiration for his daughter and her new husband. He spoke

about the importance of family and the joy of seeing his daughter marry the man of her dreams.

The guests were treated to a delicious meal, complete with a stunning wedding cake adorned with delicate flowers and intricate details. The evening was filled with laughter, tears, and heartfelt toasts from the couple's loved ones.

Sophie and James' wedding was a beautiful celebration of love and commitment, with every detail perfectly executed. It was a day that will undoubtedly be remembered for years to come.

We wish the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness and love.

Your ceremony should reflect your relationship, your values, and your plans. Some couples want a legal wedding with a marriage license. Others want a meaningful commitment ceremony without changing their legal status. Some couples choose both at different points in their lives. Every option holds value. The core difference comes down to legal paperwork. A legal wedding creates a recognized marriage. A commitment ceremony celebrates your relationship without creating legal marital status.

Wedding etiquette used to come with a long list of expectations. Who paid - Who stood where - What everyone wore - Which traditions were considered “essential.” But many of those rules were created for a very different time and a very different idea of what a wedding should look like.

For years, vow renewals were associated with silver anniversaries, golden anniversaries, and formal celebrations after decades of marriage. Those milestones are still beautiful, but they are no longer the only reasons couples choose to say “I do” again.

Music can transform a wedding ceremony from a series of planned moments into an experience everyone feels. The right song can calm your nerves before the ceremony, make your entrance unforgettable, give a unity ritual deeper meaning, and turn your first walk back down the aisle into a joyful beginning.

There is a moment during nearly every meaningful wedding ceremony when the room becomes completely still. The music fades. The guests lean forward. One partner looks at the other and begins to speak from the heart. That is the magic of personal wedding vows. The good news? You do not need to be a poet, a professional writer, or someone who always knows exactly what to say. The most moving vows are rarely the most elaborate. They are honest, specific, and unmistakably yours. At Today We Become One , our award-winning officiants, including our multilingual team, help couples turn their real stories into meaningful ceremonies. Here are five secrets our professional officiants use to help couples write vows that bring happy tears to the people they love.

There is something undeniably romantic about spontaneity. While many couples spend years meticulously planning every floral arrangement and seating chart, others find that the true magic lies in the "here and now." Whether it is a sudden realization that you’ve found "the one," a desire for a private and intimate union, or simply a wish to skip the stress of a big production, same-day weddings have become a beloved tradition in the Greater Palm Springs area.

For decades, the "Big White Wedding" was the gold standard. It was a production: a carefully choreographed sequence of events that often felt more like a performance for the guests than a celebration for the couple. But as we move through 2026, a massive shift is happening. If you’ve spent any time on wedding Pinterest or TikTok lately, you’ve likely felt it...the air is changing.

In the heart of Greater Palm Springs, where the rugged San Jacinto mountains meet the soft, golden light of the desert, love stories are told every day. But for many couples, a love story isn’t just told in one language. It’s lived in two (or more).
